Job description

What you’ll do
Developing hardware and software, our Technology team creates and maintains the low-latency FPGA HDL building blocks for the ensemble of Enyx products as part of the nxFramework FDK (Firmware Development Kit).

You will take part in the hardware implementation of network protocols such as Ethernet, UDP and TCP as well as on the communication layers such as PCIe. These hardware components are used internally at Enyx by the product and solution teams and part of the nxFramework FDK used by various large financial institutions to build FPGA accelerated applications. You will be working with high end FPGA boards and switches targeted for ultra low latency applications.

You will work in a team of 10, consisting of 4 software engineers, 4 hardware engineers, one support engineer and one engineering manager. You will be involved on all phases of the projects to guarantee an optimised and performing development that responds to the constraints of last generation FPGA development.

Working for Alexandre, the Team engineering manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Based on specifications written by architects and product management, develop and maintain technology bricks using our advanced workflows (testing automation, code reuse…)
  • Participate on the development cycle from RTL coding, behavioral simulation, up to automatic testing on FPGA platforms
  • Develop functional & performance tests for hardware components
  • Maintain and improve documentation for hardware components

Applicant profile

Your qualifications & experience

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Full understanding of the complete FPGA flow with deep knowledge in timing analysis
  • A capacity to judge the quality and performance of a given architecture
  • Technical environment: VHDL, FPGA, Vivado, TCP, UDP, PCIe, MAC/PCS, Network, Python, Linux, GIT, Jenkins
  • Professional English and French
